It’s begun! Been in London for three days now and we’ve been spoiled with cards, presents, home brew, baking, amazing food, and excellent hospitality. (special thanks to the Douras Dunns and Nus xx) .
I need to make a confession though: My name is Ally. I’m an English teacher and revere books above most else on this earth. But I’ve bought a Kindle: I’ve moved to the dark side.
My mate Pete thinks I’ll burn in Hell – in my defence, the device will just enable me to read loads more books than I could possibly carry, and I’m not sure I can rely on hostel book swaps to furnish me with a steady supply of Gothic literature and English classics! 🙂 If I get struck by lightning David will let you know.
